Silversmith's Session Ale
A mild smooth ale that is easy to drink, maybe a little too easy.
Session beers were developed to help make it through long drinking sessions.
The concept of this is very old, especially as in the past it was much more acceptable to be drinking in the middle of the day and not be a university student. The coining of the term is much less clear. It can be seen to gain popularity in the 1900s but there isn’t a brand, area or person it can be attributed to. It may just be one of those obvious ideas that no one ever felt the need to write down.
Silversmith’s Session Ale should come out about 4-5%, don’t worry if yours is slightly different so long as it tastes good.
