  • Fuggles is a British hop that gained recognition in the 1800s because of Richard Fuggle propogating the plant. It is a common type of hop being the progenitor of many types like Styrian Goldings.

    Mainly used as an aroma hop in modern day, it was once used for bittering, it is still somewhat effective at doing so and can be used in all types of ales. It has a fruity and herbal aroma. 

     

    Alpha Acid 3.5-6.6%

    Beta Acid 2-4%

    Total oil 0.7-1.4 ml/100g
