As you homebrew more and more you will come across many little tips and tricks to help you along the way, here are a few to get you started. Before you start homebrewing clear out some space for your equipment and ingredients you will require over time. While if you just do our kits you will not need to make any space at all as you get deeper into homebrewing and start experimenting yourself you will end up with a large range of stuff which needs safe storage. As mentioned in our history of IPA article, we’ve noticed that recently IPA has become very popular. Thus we have expanded our range to include a new drink, Captain’s IPA. A unique IPA that blends bitterness with a balanced honey aftertaste. Fuggles is more commonly used as an aroma hop, but it can also add a gentle bitterness. We wanted to make an IPA that was noticeably different from our Shipwright’s IPA but would still be appealing to all hop heads. This is why we chose to use Fuggles instead of Goldings, add some honey to really give a distinct flavour which as a combo give a layered taste. Captain’s IPA is available now!
