Sorachi Ace Hop Plant

Sorachi Ace's history is a complex one. Created in the 1980s Sorachi Ace is a cross between Saaz, Brewer's Gold and Beikei No 2. Original made by the Sapporo Brewery in Hokaido, it is still popular in Japanese lagers. Such as Asahi, Kirin and opf course Sapporo.

In 2006 it found international fame when American brewers picked it up. 

It has a notable spicy and lemon citrus quality.
